Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service in Kumasi in the Ashanti region is seriously hunting for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Excellent Favour Travel and Tour, Mr. Edwin Ofosu Denkyi, who is reported to have duped clients of billions of Ghana Cedis.

Mr. Ofosu Denkyi, who was reported to the Kumasi Regional Police Command after he succeeded in collecting huge sums of monies from his clients with the pretence of helping them travel abroad.

The search for Mr. Ofosu Denkyi follows his inability to honour invitations extended to him by the police.

A victim, Solace Binyah, a professional teacher in Kumasi, who spoke to this paper revealed that she contacted the company after she had heard advertisements in the media of varieties of services the company rendered.

These services include a package to South Africa with a working permit at a cost of GH¢6000.

According to her, she applied based on all the assurances given to her by Mr. Ofosu Denkyi, and paid all fees to enable her travel to South Africa.

She mentioned that the GH¢6,000 covered charges for visa, working permit and accommodation.

She went on to state that Excellent Favour Travel and Tour also assured her that an applicant, after paying the said GH¢, 6000 would have the opportunity to stay in South Africa for four years.

It would be recalled that Today on February 25 2014 reported that Mr. Denkyi, has devised other means of extorting moneys from people, and allegedly managed to lure those applicants who were able to pay the GH¢6000.00 fee to pay additional GH¢1500.00 for air ticket.
