Sunglasses Paul Walker Was Wearing During Fatal Crash Up For Auction

The sunglasses Paul Walker was said to be wearing when he died in a fatal car crash in December have reportedly been put up for auction alongside a fire extinguisher said to have been used to put out the flames of the burning vehicle.

The 40 year-old actor died last year after the driver of a Ferrari he was a passenger in lost control and hit a tree, the vehicle immediately bursting into flames.

The crash site soon became a shrine to the Fast And Furious star as people mourned his passing, though according to the seller, he managed to take the items before police cornered off the area.

The seller put the items up for auction at BidAMI.com according to TMZ and claims to have found the sunglasses in the bushes around the site and decided to take them, not realizing they belonged to the star until photos of the moments before Walker's death were published online where he was wearing the glasses.
Entertainment Wise was unable to access the site, implying the post may well have been removed.
The insensitive auction comes as it's been confirmed filming of the next Fast and Furious movie will resume within the next few weeks. Universal Studios executives announced this week that that filming will pick up again on March 31st.
According to E! News, the studio said, "shooting will resume on March 31 in Atlanta... meaning the cast and crew will be heading back to work roughly four months after the shocking death of franchise star Paul Walker."
Walker and his friend Roger Rodas were pronounced dead at the scene. He had already completed most of his scenes for the seventh installment of the street-racing films so his character Brian O'Connor will remain in the movie.

The Hollywood Reporter wrote: "In the weeks after the tragedy, director James Wan, writer Chris Morgan and Jeffrey Kirschenbaum, Universal’s lead executive on the Fast films, pored over the footage Wan had shot.
"The trio then devised a plan to tweak the existing script so that Walker would remain a part of the story but could be written out, allowing the franchise to continue without him.”
Walker's co-star Tyrese Gibson told Yahoo's The Insider the franchise has to keep going to honour the late actor.

He said: "Thank God close to 85 percent of the movie was shot with him in it.

"The fans are really going to feel like they’re still experiencing Paul Walker and Brian O’Conner in this franchise and we’re going to make it fun and make the best of it.”

Fast & Furious 7 is expected to hit cinemas in April 2015
