Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has said he is gaining a lot from his short
stints with top clubs in the English Premier League and the end results
will show at the 2014 World Cup.
Appiah is expected to fly to Liverpool on Friday as part of a learning
tour after a successful stay at Manchester City a few weeks ago.
He said his stay with the Citizens was worth it and believes that of
the Reds will come as an added advantage as he sharpens his skills for
the big stage.
“It is really essential because it helps to keep your focus and also be
on top of issues,” Appiah told Goal Ghana on Wednesday. “I’m looking
forward to it and I know at the long run Ghana stand to gain from it.”
Appiah, who is the first local coach to qualify Ghana to the World Cup,
is expected to share ideas with Liverpool’s technical staff as well as
tour their facilities.
